Grassroof

A simple yet very effective green roof system that can be used for new-build or retro-fit flat roof construction. The lightweight structure can be used to good effect with for instance extensive format applications enabling existing flat roofs to be easily converted to green alternatives. With Simple intensive and Intensive applications the units form the base drainage layer for these deeper structures.

System includes:

• Grassroof paver units that interlock together and can be laid either directly onto the roof membrane or via a foil backed polystyrene underlay where the roof membrane might be susceptible to indentations.
• Regarm Moisture retaining blanket.
• Extensive, simple intensive and intensive cover.
• Regarm holding down pins.
• Foil backed polystyrene underlay.
• Grasskerb GKP/1 adhesive pads to secure.
• GK60 Grasskerb units with adhesive pads for simple intensive green roofs.

Features and benefits:

• Slowing the flow of surface water from roof tops into the drainage network. Helping to reduce peak demand and incidence of flooding by source control.
