Description

GRP standard span cable tray and fittings are pressed from glass reinforced polyester resin, using hot moulding technology and facilitating the manufacture of smooth intricate shapes.


Features and benefits:

  • A variety of sizes from 50 x 50 mm to 400 x 80 mm.
  • 2.5 times lighter than steel.
  • Completely corrosion resistant against salt spray, H25, acid build up from exhaust gases and brake dust along roads and railways.
  • No need for painting or protective coating.
  • Classified LS0H material.
  • Self-extinguishing.
  • Low conductivity.
  • Earthing not required.
  • Antimagnetic and resistant to electromagnetic pulses.
  • Effective at temperatures between -80˚C to +130˚C.
  • Lower life cycle cost.
  • Fast installation with fewer fasteners.
  • Easy to cut and drill.
  • Load characteristics in accordance with IEC 6153.
