Suitable for use on timber stud, metal stud, brick and block walls in domestic, commercial and public sector buildings - new build, material change of use and refurbishment.

Description

The Hush HD1041 Wall Lining System is a rigorously tested solution for achieving high levels of sound insulation in wall construction including timber stud, steel stud, brick or block.

 

Its excellent performance is amongst the highest level available for a system of this kind, and it is fully compliant with the Building Regulations covering all nations of the UK.

 

A high standard of airborne sound reduction can be achieved with flanking and direct sound transmission dramatically reduced, with the added benefit of a minimal loss of room space.

  • Building Regulations Approved Document E (England & Wales), Technical Handbook Section 5 (Scotland) and Technical Handbook G (Northern Ireland) compliant.
  • High standards of airborne sound reduction.
  • Can reduce both flanking and direct sound transmission.
  • Minimal loss of space within the room.

 

How HD1041 is formed:

  • Install a 15 mm Gyproc Fireline plasterboard over the Hush Multi Panel. This is an innovative acoustic multi-purpose soundboard that contains high levels of mass to ensure optimum acoustic performance
  • Ensuring that all joints are staggered.
  • Seal all perimeters using Hush Isolation Tape and Hush acoustic sealant.
  • Fix both boards to Hush Deep Resilient Bars and insert Hush Slab 25 Sound Absorber between the Hush Bars.
  • The Hush Bar Deep Resilient Bars are fixed horizontally at 450 mm centres to the wall.
