Resilient flooring battens.
Suitable for use over concrete and timber floors.
Hush Battens are made from dressed timber and are designed for use over concrete or timber floors.
Hush Batten 55 has been designed as a resilient composite batten used to enable the construction of a service void, whilst reducing impact sound transmission between separating floors.
It provides long lasting support for floating timber or chipboard floors thanks to the to superior quality timber and the highly resilient acoustic Hushfelt™ used in manufacture.
Excellent results can be achieved in both refurbishment and new build projects when Hush-Batten 55 are used as part of a sound insulation system for separating floors.
The battens are supplied with a factory bonded acoustic felt base which is a rot-proof, high density (90 kg/m³) polypropylene, having a very high resistance to long term compression.
