Insulated Sectional Overhead Door - Manual or Electric

Sectional overhead doors designed for small to large external openings to give unobstructed access and a low maintenance, trouble free, weather proof service. A choice of widths and heights is available, as every door is made to customer’s individual requirements, and can cater for low headroom, high lift contour, (following the roof line) and vertical lift situations.

Construction is of materials specially selected to withstand the rigours of daily use. Door panels are constructed from double skin

galvanised steel sheet bonded with high density CFC free polyurethane foam, producing a strong rigid section ( 42mm thick ) with excellent ‘U’ value and no thermal break between panels. All associated hardware is of galvanised steel ( Stainless available as an option ) and seals at the top and bottom and at each side ensure weather protection.

Each door is counterbalanced by tempered helical springs mounted at high level on a horizontal shaft turning within two end bearings and two mid line bearing support plates.

Two steel cables ( 6mm dia ) lift the door with the spring tension designed to equal the weight of the door.

Manual operation is via continuous chain or push up with pull down cord.

Electrical operation can be either single or 3 phase with door controlled by simple push button or a variety of automatic options such as Remote fobs, movement detectors, Induction Loops and Pull Chords.
