Mouldshield Fungicidal Matt

Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Matt is a water-based emulsion containing a special fungicide ( Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Eggshell and Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Matt contain 3-iodo-2-propynyl-n-butylcarbanate) which inhibits the growth of fungi and mould inside buildings. Its broad spectrum of antifungal activity makes it suitable for most interior walls and ceilings likely be disfigured by mould.

It is suitable for use on woodchip, blown vinyl wall coverings etc., as well as dry plaster anda range of building boards.

Tested to BS 3900 Part G6.

The specification and use of Dulux Trade Anti-Mould coatings will provide an effective defence against further development of mould and algal growth.

However, other considerations should be taken into account to avoid the damp conditions which encourage mould growth.

External walls should be effectively water-proofed to avoid dampness penetrating through the fabric of the building.

The living areas should be adequately ventilated and in areas affected by steam and condensation, such as bathrooms and kitchens there should be suitable extraction units fitted
