One Way Flow Plate

The One Way Flow Plate controls traffic flow to one direction only and is designed to work in groups to provide full road width coverage; a three metre wide road would typically require six One Way Flow Plates.

Features and benefits:

• As a vehicle passes over the plate, the flap is pushed down, allowing the vehicle to pass and the rubber buffer on the reverse of the flap ensures noise is kept to a minimum. Once the vehicle has passed the flap returns to its upright position.
• The One Way Flow Plate is constructed from heavy duty steel which is then galvanized to ensure longevity and coated yellow to maximise visibility.
• The AUTOPA One Way Flow Plate is not recommended for HGV use.
• Body: 200 x 300 x 290 mm (width x length x overall height).
• Flap: 336 x 120 mm (width x height).
• 13 mm above ground (flap closed).
• 133 mm above ground (flap open).
• 200 mm below ground.
• 13mm galvanized steel plate.

Installation:

• One Way Flow Plates require an excavated hold of at least 500 x 500 x 250 mm (w x l x d) for casting into concrete.
• Flow Plates should be positioned such that vehicles can only approach them head on.
• Suitable road signs should be installed advising drivers to use of One Way Flow Plates and to slow to 5 mph.
