Application

Suitable for high-security sites like banks, embassies, bullion depots, cargo parks, ports and lorry parks. Terra barriers have been proven to stop vehicles, providing hostile vehicle mitigation and preventing a vehicle from being used as a weapon.

Description

This automatic drop arm barrier has been impact-tested to PAS 68 and is able to stop a 7.5-tonne vehicle travelling at 50 mph within the aperture. It is a carbon steel heavy-duty barrier manufactured from an enhanced beam with two heavy-duty reinforced stanchions at either end fitted with a standard under run skirt to arrest different energy levels.

PAS 68 Classification Code: V/7500[N3]/80/90:5.3/2.0. The operational speed is 12–15 seconds, depending on boom length. An extra fast operation model is available; contact the manufacturer for more information.
