Description

Passive Purple: The World's Leading Airtight Liquid Vapour Control

In the realm of modern construction, airtightness and vapor control are paramount for achieving energy efficiency and maintaining healthy indoor environments. At Intelligent Membranes, we are proud to introduce Passive Purple, the world's leading airtight liquid vapor control solution that sets a new standard for performance, versatility, and sustainability.

What is Passive Purple?

Passive Purple is an innovative liquid-applied membrane designed to create a seamless and airtight barrier. It prevents air leakage, reduces drafts, and controls moisture, significantly contributing to the energy efficiency of buildings. This advanced product is ideal for both new construction and retrofit projects, delivering exceptional airtightness without compromising on breathability.

Key Benefits of Passive Purple

  • World-Class Airtightness: Passive Purple is engineered to achieve exceptional levels of airtightness, helping buildings meet stringent energy efficiency standards, including Passive House certification. By minimizing air leaks, it reduces energy consumption and helps maintain a consistent indoor temperature.
  • Effective Vapour Control: While providing airtightness, Passive Purple also controls vapor transmission, preventing condensation and reducing the risk of mold and mildew. This balance of airtightness and vapor control ensures a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment.
  • Seamless Application: As a liquid-applied membrane, Passive Purple creates a seamless barrier that eliminates gaps and reduces the risk of leaks. Its unique formulation allows for easy application on a variety of substrates, including concrete, wood, and masonry.
  • Versatile Use: Passive Purple is suitable for various construction types, from residential to commercial, and from new builds to heritage restorations. Its adaptability makes it a versatile choice for any project requiring airtightness and vapor control.
  • Eco-Friendly and Sustainable: Developed with sustainability in mind, Passive Purple is low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ensuring minimal environmental impact. It contributes to a reduction in carbon footprint and supports eco-friendly building practices.
  • Durable and Long-Lasting: Passive Purple offers excellent durability, withstanding weather, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations. This long-lasting protection ensures the integrity and energy efficiency of your building for years to come.

Why Choose Passive Purple?

Passive Purple is the ultimate solution for those seeking to achieve airtightness and vapor control in their construction projects. Its seamless application, versatility, and eco-friendly attributes make it the preferred choice for architects, builders, and contractors worldwide.

A BBA-certified, Passivhaus Certified, ICC Certified airtight vapour control air barrier coating that is applied with an airless spray device on all areas of an external envelope (warm side of the insulation) of a building. This includes those difficult connection areas to the floor, wall, roof and joist. When used on the warm side of the insulation, it can be applied to either face of the external envelope. To install, ensure the material or surface is dust-free.
