Performance Timber Lift and Slide Door - The Lomond - Sustainable Timber Doors

Lomond doors are manufactured around a very high specification ironmongery system from MACO and have been carefully designed to maximize glass sightlines. They are designed around triple glazed vacuum glass to give extreme energy efficiency and a highly traditional beading detail is incorporated to give the doors a classically styled appearance.

Frontier Range of Performance Doors:

Designed to target the future build market, but without the typical downsides of super-efficient products, the Frontier range is an advanced window range. Constructed from FSC-Certified Accoya® with a proprietary vacuum cavity unit and a specially adapted Italian paint system the range combines energy efficiency and an extended low maintenance service life into a well-designed package suitable for most styles of building.

Lomond Timber Lift and Slide Door:

• Vacuum cavity glazing combined into a proprietary triple glazed unit, delivering centre pane U-values of 0.4 W/m²K. Thinner unit allows for more traditional window dimensions and better aesthetics.
• Locking around the entire perimeter of the frame gives enhanced security performance. Key lockable ironmongery is included with a range of finishes.
• Sophisticated ironmongery allows very large door leafs (up to 3.2 m wide) and long runs of up to 19.8 m in a six door system.
• With the correct building works doors can open and slide into a pocket in the wall, further reducing obstructions.
• Available in double or triple glazing, with the ability to deliver products with U-values of below 1.0 W/m²K.
• Panoramic design removes top and bottom rails from side panels to give a more contemporary appearance and better performance.
• Option for removal of side panels and fixing tracking so doors open and slide into a pocket in the wall. Slender 22 mm glazing bars and thin profile of the beading reduce the perceived width of the sections. External bar designed to replicate the traditional appearance of putty pointing.
