Medium to High Security Custodial environments.
The Pill & Beverage Hatch has been designed to enhance patient dignity through a safe and secure means of dispensing medication and beverages. Staff safety is enhanced through the ability to open the hatch and utilising the door as a serving tray, before placing items on the tray and then standing back, permitting the patient free movement to obtain those items. Once the patient is clear, staff can quickly and safely close the hatch with the slam lock function engaging immediately on closure, allowing a safe time to lock the hatch in its closed position.
