Application

Heavy traffic areas where there are risks of water spillage and other contaminants in commercial and residential areas such as washrooms, WCs, classrooms, laundry and sluice rooms and bar serveries.

Description

A safety flooring range featuring 16 colours (2 mm and 2.5 mm gauge) with a traditional decoration. The product incorporates Polysafe PUR, a high quality, cross-linked polyurethane reinforcement, UV cured to provide superior cleaning benefits, optimum appearance retention and life cycle cost savings when compared to untreated safety floors. Coloured quartz, aluminium oxide, silicon carbide particles and natural recycled aggregates are incorporated in the vinyl to give sustainable slip resistance for the guaranteed life of the product.

The floor covering conforms to a wide range of international standards including the European Norm for Safety Flooring EN 13845 and is fully compliant with Health and Safety Executive and UK Slip Resistance Group Guidelines, achieving a low slip potential classification. A result of 36+ is achieved on the RRL Pendulum Wet Test using Four-S/Slider 96 rubber with a surface roughness of 20 microns +.

Standard meets the 50 000 cycles abrasion test to EN 13845, meaning the product provides sustainable slip resistance. The product is resistant to dilute acids and alkalis and is classified as anti-static in accordance with EN 1815.

Features and benefits:

  • Reinforced with Polysafe PUR for optimum appearance retention.
  • Up to 60% life cycle maintenance cost saving compared to untreated safety floors.
