Pressure rating PN16, balanced by a bellows
Combined self-operated regulator for flow rate with additional electric actuator.
Flow rate control in district heating systems or extended heating or cooling networks.
For use with water and other liquids, provided these do not cause the materials used to corrode. Suitable for treated water up to 150°C.
Combined self-operated regulator for flow rate with additional electric actuator.
Features and benefits:
Flow regulator with thermostat connection also available (Type 2489), consult manufacturer for details.

Accessories | None. Compression-type fittings. Guidance for specification option: Straight stud ends with parallel thread according to DIN 2353 to connect control lines to the valve.
Screw joint with restriction. Guidance for specification option: Pipe screw fitting with restriction to dampen vibrations in the control line. Various cross-sections available depending on the volume of the diaphragm actuator. Needle valve. Guidance for specification option: To shut off the control lines and also to dampen any vibration.
Compensation chamber. Guidance for specification option: Used to protect the operating diaphragm in the actuator against high temperatures. Required for medium temperatures above 150°C.
Double adapter for regulators. Guidance for specification option: For connection of a second control thermostat or a second actuator. The double adapter is mounted between the bellows housing and the actuator to apply a second controlled variable, e.g. to limit the temperature. Orifice plate. Guidance for specification option: To create a differential pressure Δp. Required when using a differential pressure regulator as a flow regulator.
The orifice bore diameter is calculated based on the technical data. The orifice plate is mounted between the inlet flange of the differential pressure regulator and an additional welding neck flange. Welding neck flange with compression-type fitting. Guidance for specification option: For flow control with an orifice plate.
Control line connection. Ready-mounted control line with accessories (mounting kit). Guidance for specification option: For transmitting the pressure to the diaphragm of the regulator. The manufacturer recommends using a stainless steel 8 x 1 mm tube as a control line. Optionally, they offer various regulator models with ready-mounted control lines, needle valves and compensation chambers. Consult manufacturer's literature for details of the various options and configurations. |
Flow rate | Manufacturer's standard. Guidance for specification option: Set point ranges determined by multiple factors; consult manufacturer's literature for details. |
Special features | Not applicable (standard). Internal parts made of FKM e.g. for mineral oils. With soft-seated orifice. Guidance for specification option: For nominal sizes DN15–50. For temperatures up to 220°C. ANSI version. Guidance for specification option: On request, consult manufacturer for details. Manufacturer guidanceIf actuator with two diaphragms is required, see Actuators above. |
