Adhered PVC single-ply membrane water attenuation blue roofing system for warm roof constructions.
Can be laid on roofs designed for slopes with a minimum 1:100 towards the outlet. Suitable for new build and refurbishment applications on flat or pitched roofs. Can be used on concrete roof decking, plywood WBP to BS 5268-2 and BS EN 636-3, profiled galvanized steel deck, roofing Grade OSB to BS EN 300 and profiled aluminium deck.
Water attenuation blue roofing system for new and existing roofs that includes Protan BPX 1.8 mm thick roofing membranes manufactured from PVC with a polyester reinforced core. Installed as exposed roofing, allowing rainwater to accumulate to a predefined maximum level and be stored on the roof for a certain amount of time after rainfall. Water run-off is then gradually permitted into the into the building's drainage system before entering the drainage network. This avoids water overloading, which can result in flooding. Joint welding is carried out using hot air.
