Application

Designing a public roof is a challenging and complex project. Load distribution, surface water drainage and underground drainage are a few of the main planning issues involved. In addition, the various use categories (U 1–3) also have to be taken into account. Optigrun offer a range of public roofs:

  • Public roof walkable: walkable non-green roof area.
  • Public roof driveable - for passenger cars: non-green roof area accessible to cars.
  • Public roof driveable - for lorries: non-green roof area accessible to trucks.
  • Public roof greenable pavements: walkable greened roof area.
  • public roof gravel lawn: walkable greened roof area.
  • Public roof retention: walkable greened roof area with simultaneous function as retention area.
  • Public roof inverted roof: specially adapted construction method for the realization of traffic areas on inverted roofs.
  • Public roof without slope: for traffic areas on flat roofs without a gradient in the waterproofing layer.

Features and benefits:

  • Combined with green spaces on the roofs.
  • Varying load class depending on use.
  • Used in a range of applications.
