Rain Garden Soil

An alkaline, non-saline, non-calcareous, sand with a single grain structure and low stone content. It contains sufficient reserves of major plant nutrients but is slightly deficient in

organic matter. The recorded saturated hydraulic conductivity was moderately high, and the total porosity was satisfactory. None of the potential contaminants exceeded their respective guideline values, confirming the material's suitability for rain garden applications.

The horticultural and geotechnical properties indicate that this sample is appropriate for use as topsoil in a rain garden, provided its drainage rate aligns with the specific project requirements.
