Description
The ReductoClip Independent System is a slimline, highly effective wall soundproofing solution, engineered to enable you to achieve peace and quiet in any setting. Ranging from domestic homes, commercial settings, or music studios.

This system ticks all the necessary boxes, adding high levels of mass, resilience to dampen sound energy and a full decoupling from the structure.

System components (120 mm build up from original walls (60 mm from stud frame):
- Independent Stud Frame - 10 mm air gap isolates the soundproofing from the offending wall for best possible sound reduction performance.
- Isolation Strip - isolates from surrounding surfaces to reduce flanking vibration.
- ReductoClips - decouple the mass layers from the frame and acts like a shock absorbing suspension system to dampen high levels of sound energy and vibration.
- ReductoClip Furring Channels - extra wide to make fixing acoustic plasterboards quicker and easier.
- Acoustic Mineral Wool - dampens sound within the frame cavity to stop sound amplifying .
- Acoustic Plasterboard - (two layers) to increase the mass of the wall. More mass and density than standard plasterboard but with the same finishing and decorating techniques.
- FlexiSound 5 - viscoelastic membrane to add further mass to the wall. A different type of mass to reduce different sound frequencies to the other layers. FlexiSound also helps to dampen sound energy and vibration.

Linings | Acoustic plasterboard (two layers).Guidance for specification option: Acoustic plasterboards have a higher density core than standard plasterboard and are designed for use in ceiling lining, wall lining and partition stud systems where greater levels of sound insulation are required. The higher density also offers higher impact and fire resistance. |

FlexiSound 5.Guidance for specification option: FlexiSound 5 is an ultra thin, self-adhesive, acoustic membrane which adds extra mass to a surface or structure to reduce sound transmission. Its unique anti-vibration properties allow it to dampen sound energy and increase performance at lower frequencies. Isolation strip.Guidance for specification option: Isolation Strips (self adhesive) 10 m length rolls. Designed to sit beneath all types of wall partitions and on top of timber joists to provide a very simple and effective way to reduce structure borne noise.
