Description

A modern interpretation of the traditional railing fence, featuring tubular pales with a smart conified top. It is suitable for all boundary purposes. Siena Sport is a modified version with heavy-duty components, and has been specifically designed to take crowd loadings, for example around sports grounds.


Siena fences are manufactured from vertical tubular bars passing through horizontal rails at top and bottom, which are bolted to alternative styles of post.


Features and benefits:

  • Single leaf, double leaf, pivot, cantilevered or sliding gates are manufactured to match with Siena infill.
  • Optional entry/ exit controls can be supplied for restricted access, with automatic activation in the event of fire alarm.
  • Railing fences are supplied in accordance with BS 1722-9.
  • Panels and posts can be supplied galvanized only, or galvanized and powder coated to any RAL colour.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Refer to BS 1722 giving consideration to existing ground conditions.
  • Posts to be set in holes 300 to 400 mm square in plan and between 550 and 700 mm in depth, depending on fence height.
  • Holes should be completely filled to a minimum of 50 mm below ground level with concrete mix (minimum strength of C20).
