Application

-For extensive green roofs.

-Also suitable for inverted roofs.

-No roof penetration is required for installation.

Description

The combination of photovoltaics and green roofs on the Optigrün Solar Green Roof combines many advantages. The evaporative cooling of the vegetation leads to an increase in the efficiency of the photovoltaic system. At the same time, the green roof makes an important contribution to maintaining the natural water balance and increasing biodiversity.

Optigrün's load-bearing solar mounts are fixed in position and secured against wind suction by the green roof structure. No roof penetration is required for installation. The solar mounts can be combined with various system structures and enable multifunctional roof use.

Features and benefits:

  • Sustainable power generation with solar energy.
  • Flood protection and relief of the sewerage system - preservation of the natural water balance.
  • Green areas provide habitats instead of dead sealed surfaces.
  • Improving quality of life and active health protection.

Solar Green Roof FKD:

  • Load-supported solar mounting support.
  • Roof penetration-free fastening of PV modules thanks to combination with the green roof.
  • East-west orientation possible.
  • Integration of the solar mounting support into the Drainage and Storage Board.
  • Yield increase for the photovoltaics system.
  • High mounting support to prevent shading of the PV modules by vegetation.
  • Plant growth also underneath the modules.
  • Low weight of the system structure.
  • Also suitable for inverted roofs.

Solar Green Roof WRB:

  • Load-supported solar mounting support.
  • Integration of the solar mounting support into the Water Retention Box (WRB).
  • High water retention and water discharge delay.
  • Roof penetration-free fastening of PV modules thanks to combination with the green roof.
  • East-west orientation possible.
  • Yield increase for the photovoltaics system.
  • High mounting support to prevent shading of the PV modules by vegetation.
  • Plant growth also underneath the modules.
  • Low weight of the system structure.
  • Also suitable for inverted roofs.

Solar Green Roof SOLon:

  • High electricity yield, comparable with a conventional solar green roof.
  • High-quality double-glazed modules with high bifacial coefficient and hail protection.
  • Retrofitting on existing green roofs possibl.
  • Very low weight of 12-22 kg/m².
  • Cohesive system, secured against shifting as a result of wind pressure, no occurrence of wind suction.
  • Consistent supply of light and water to the vegetation. The green roof can develop unhindered.
  • Maintenance can easily be carried out on the green roof.
  • Integrated cable management.
  • Very simple, quick installation.
  • Certified in accordance with IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 61701, IEC TS 62804 (module safety and reliability).
