Steel Roller Shutter Door - Steel security roller shutter door

Steel Roller Shutter comprising 75 mm deep horizontal laths sliding together to form a curtain that runs up and down within side guides fixed to the sides of the clear opening. Curtain wraps around a horizontal steel tube fixed at high level above the clear opening. Solid steel shafts running through the tube mounted into bearings fix the tube in place fixed to 2 x steel separately mounted endplates.

• Shutter can be operated manually by push up pull down or haul chain.
• Electric operation is available either single or 3 phase.
• Single phase tube motor option available with separate safety brake. 3 Phase external motors complete with integral safety brake.
• Tube motor options are generally for shopfront applications where usage is limited to up and down once or twice a day.
• Control of shutter can be by simple push button or from a variety of automatic options such as induction loop, key switch, movement detector, pull cord and remote fob. Safety features are included for auto close options.
• Standard finish is galvanized steel but powder-coat finish is available assuming standard RAL or BS colours.
• Roller shutters can be supplied with added security such as ground anchors and side fixed bullet locks.
