Jackup-E box (elastomers) - Pad-L
ISO 9001 Quality Management
Certificate type
ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
Certificate type
An embedded jack-up floating floor system.
Typically used in:
Stravifloor Jackup-E is an isolated floating floor system using moulded natural rubber within bell-shaped cast iron housings cast into concrete and jacked up after the concrete has cured, to provide the required void depth. Once the concrete has cured, the isolated slab is raised off the structure to the required void depth.
Stravifloor Jackup-E boxes allow for easy adjustment of the final floor height. It is cost-effective solution with minimal risk of acoustic bridging between the floating floor slab and the subfloor.

Standards | Acoustic test standard: Rw measured in accordance with ISO 10140-2:2021 and single figure ratings determined in accordance with EN ISO 717-1:2021. Ln,w and ∆Lw measured in accordance with ISO 10140-3:2021 and single figure ratings determined in accordance with EN ISO 717-2:2021. |
Weighted sound reduction index, Rw | 71 dB. Manufacturer guidanceConsult manufacturer's literature and/or Stravi-dB (stravi-db.com) for detailed sound reduction index values. |
Impact sound reduction | ΔLw: 36 dB. Manufacturer guidanceConsult manufacturer's literature and/or Stravi-dB (stravi-db.com) for detailed sound reduction index values. |
System height | Minimum system height: 105 mm. |
Air gap | 20 mm (minimum). Manufacturer guidance50 mm is the most common air gap. Maximum air void limited by bolt buckling resistance. |
Floor finish | Specified separately. Guidance for specification option: Compatible with all floor coverings, including impact absorption layers to be used on gyms free weight areas, under the floor coverings, to improve the structure-borne noise mitigation through extending the time of contact/impact and, thereby, reduce the peak impact force and the noise generated. |
Weight | 2.12 kN/m². Guidance for specification option: If installed with normal weight reinforced concrete slab, 85 mm thick. |
