SumpGuard® - Automatic Sump Frost Protector

SumpGuard® is a cost-effective solution that provides additional protection to Andel’s BundGuard® dewatering system when installed in sites susceptible to freezing temperatures.

The system comprises of a control panel and fully submersible ceramic heating element that is designed to prevent water from freezing in a sump size of 600 x 600 x 600 mm.

It is energy efficient, only using enough power to prevent water in the sump from freezing and automatically switching the heating element off when not required.

The system uses a submersible electrical device in water, therefore strict levels of safety should be followed. All electrical supplies must be isolated before handling or maintaining this system. Installation must only be carried out by trained personnel or a qualified electrician.
