Application

  • Box sash: Suitable for listed buildings and period properties. Suitable for Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes and commercial properties throughout the UK.
  • Spiral balanced sash: Suitable for more modern, contemporary homes or space-saving projects.

Description

Timber sliding sash windows available in two versions:

  • Box sash, which utilizes a traditional cord, weight and pulley system, providing a completely authentic sash window.
  • Spiral balanced sash, which uses a concealed spring-loaded mechanism rather than the traditional cord weight and pulley system. Since they do not require a box, the frame of a spiral balance sash is slimmer.

  • Weather rating: Tested to exposure category 2000.
  • Thermal performance: A rated as standard. Triple glazed options and vacuum glass available.

  • Environmentally friendly designs, materials and processes.
  • Good acoustic performance.
  • Secured By Design and PAS 24 compliant.
  • Astragal bars available in a range of widths and styles.
  • Dual seal design (patented sash seal) provides excellent draught proofing.
