Description

A gantry provides easy access to rooflights and ceilings without disturbing the operations in the building or compromising the architecture. Gantries are divided into three groups: straight, inclined and curved gantries. These categories determine the structure and complexity of the gantry. Each type can be fitted with multiple accessories to provide good accessibility.

Gantry

Guidance for specification option:

A gantry can also have a monorail for a BMU cradle. The track is installed to the bottom of the gantry and the cradle is suspended from it. With the cradle, it is possible to access the interior facades or object within the atrium void.

System accessories

Tower.

Guidance for specification option:

A tower provides better reach upwards or downwards from the gantry. The tower traverses on twin tracks inside the gantry and it can be folded away when not used. The tower can also be telescopic, which makes it suitable for accessing any inclined ceilings.

Telescopic extension.

Guidance for specification option:

A gantry can be equipped with a telescopic unit. This means that the gantry can be extended and pulled back in from one end or both ends. The telescopic extension for the gantry provides access for atria with variable shapes.

Climbing trolleys.

Guidance for specification option:

Regular trolleys work with horizontal track lines. Gantries must be equipped with special climbing trolleys if the track line is inclined or there are slopes. With the climbing trolley the gantries can be used in every building.
