Application

For use directly beneath rigid sheet standing-seam metal roof

systems. Suitable for zinc, copper, stainless steel and aluminium standing seam metal roofs.

Description

Vapour permeable drainage membrane based on Tyvek® Supro,

that allows condensation which forms beneath roofs to drain away. The membrane has integral lap tape and must be installed over supporting boarding.


Features and benefits:

  • Excellent water resistance.
  • Vapour-permeable, airtight and wind-tight.
  • Allows condensation beneath stainless steel, aluminium, copper and zinc roofs to drain away.
  • Should be installed over 150 mm wide timber boarding with 2 mm gaps between each.
  • For use as drainage membrane beneath standing seam metal sheets roofs over timber boarding or SiPs.
  • Long term performance.

Tyvek 2060B Tape.

Guidance for specification option:

Single sided tape for sealing overlaps in Tyvek® membranes and making good around penetrations, pipework, windows and door openings. Very durable ensuring long term performance. Roll size: 75mm x 25m.

Double sided. For sealing to masonry, metal, plastics or wood, at laps or perimeters.

Tyvek® Double Sided Acrylic Tape.

Guidance for specification option:

Double sided acrylic tape for sealing laps in Tyvek® membrane and bonding to smooth surfaces. Excellent adhesion properties under extreme conditions. Strong initial tack. Roll size: 50mm x 25m.

Tyvek® Butyl Tape.

Guidance for specification option:

Double sided butyl based sealant, used to seal fixing penetrations in a Tyvek® membrane and form a moisture and airtight seal between a Tyvek® membrane and most commonly used building materials. Tape is compatible with brickwork, blockwork, masonry, timber, metalwork and most plastic products. Roll sizes: 20mm x 30m, 50mm x 30m.
