Application
For commercial applications. Designed for installation where reliability, stability and strength of the door are vital such as, main entrance, side entrance or restricted entrance to commercial, residential or public buildings.
Can be coupled with VELFAC 200 window to glazed create entrance screens for receptions or atria.
Description
24 mm double- or 48 mm triple-glazed thermally broken rebated aluminium doors.
Features and benefits:
- Manufactured from aluminium profiles and can be divided by one or more glazing bars with the resulting apertures glazed or panelled.
- Can be installed as either outward or inward opening.
- Available as single or double leaf.
- Doors can incorporate a range of glass apertures.
- 15 mm aluminium with thermal break threshold, compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations.
- Five-year warranty.
Vision glazing:
Doors delivered pre-glazed with 24 mm/ 48 mm toughened/ laminated glass where required, allowing for 6.8 mm laminate where required. Insulating glass units conform to:
- BS 952 Glass for glazing – Part 1: Classification.
- BS EN 572 Glass in building – Basic soda lime silicate glass products – Part 2: Float glass.
- BS EN 12150 Glass in building – Thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass – Part 1: definition and description.
- BS EN ISO 12543 Glass in building – Laminated safety glass.
- BS EN 12600 Specification for impact performance.
- BS EN 1279 Glass in building – Insulating glass units.

The VELFAC Aluminium door system is only available with an order for VELFAC 200.
