EPDM01RED - Red EPDM Granules
Vibrant and impact absorbing rubber surfaces.
Possible applications include: play areas, playgrounds, adventure parks, parks, paths and walkways as well as leisure centres.
Wet pour rubber is an attractive, impact absorbing and low maintenance rubber crumb safety surface which is most commonly used as the flooring around playgrounds, parks and other recreational areas due to its high critical fall height.
This two layered system is created using an SBR sub-base topped with a coloured EDPM layer to create a vibrant and safe surface which cures after around 24—48 hours dependent on the outside temperature. Wet pour is created by mixing together a coloured EPDM rubber and a wet pour specific resin binder in a forced action mixer to create a material which can then be easily spread, levelled and finished off using trowels. Skilled installers are also able to provide graphics on the safety flooring such as different colours, shapes and even games or logos to meet the specification needs.
