Wind posts constructed of A1 non-combustible stainless steel or galvanized steel available in a range of different section profiles that can be used depending on the site situations.
Application
L section wind posts:
- L section windposts are designed to fit into the internal blockwork and bolted to the structure via the specified fixings.
- The system is designed with the relevant wall ties to ensure correct embedment into the external and internal leaf transferring the loads applied from the masonry cladding back to the structure.
C section wind posts:
- C section windposts are designed to reduce on site cutting, as the vertical post is positioned within the cavity and bolted to the structure via the specified fixings.

Description
Windposts are designed to span vertically between floors to provide lateral support and stability to masonry panels. The product removes the need to have steel or reinforced concrete columns, therefore reducing the time and cost compared to this method of construction. There are a range of different section profiles that can be used depending on the site situations. All systems are value engineered to ensure the best solution possible. Wall ties and fixings will be designed specifically for each windposts. Ensuring the most optimal solutions is designed, maintaining the correct onsite position.
