ITP FlameOUT® Block Standard Class B is a polyethylene-based vapour control layer (AVCL) with a mono-filament reinforcement scrim to provide excellent tensile strength in wall and roof insulations. ITP FlameOUT® Block Standard Class B is independently tested to British and international flame retardant standards including EN 13501-1.

When used within wall and roof installations ITP FlameOUT® Block Standard Class B prevents moisture within the building's warm air from reaching the insulation layer and forming interstitial condensation.

ITP FlameOUT® Block Standard Class B contributes to both BS 9250 for the airtightness in ‘a well-sealed ceiling’ and BS 5250 aiding the control of condensation within a roof space.

Can be used in conjunction with ITP FlameOUT® Breathe Class B Euroclass B-s1,d0 breather membrane which is installed on the cold side of the building envelope.
