Suitable for general waterproofing, foundations, tunnels and in applications where the use of torch or fire must be avoided, such as in close proximity to insulation boards, PVC, glass, existing painted surfaces, etc.
Description
ARDEX WPM 117 (Shelterstick Self-adhesive Membrane) is a self-adhesive Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) bituminous membrane that is reinforced with fibreglass. Some of its features include:
- Cold applied waterproofing membrane that offers higher safety onsite (no open flames).
- Resistance to high hydrostatic pressure.
- High resistance to acids, alkalis and other pollutants.
- Self seals on contact if installed using nails or if cut accidentally.
- Compliance to AS 4654.1 – Waterproofing membranes for external above-ground use.
