OVERVIEW
A BEMO building façade and a golden aluminum roof lend the new Kirkjusandur district of the Icelandic capital Reykjavik a distinctive look. Over the past two years, a unique mixed-use development has been built in the city, right on the beach. As part of this new district, the "Stuðlaborg" building comprises 77 apartments with an unusual design, as the building appears to be divided into several buildings. The BEMO team was brought in to plan and implement the project, offering the optimal solution for the architects' vision with its flexible and customizable roof and façade systems.
