PVDF coated aluminium was used, and some areas of the roof incorporated continuous roll-formed tapers. Lengths of over 60 metres required the panels to be site rolled at eaves height, while the envelope took advantage of the non-metallic GFK halter to ensure resistance to the friction forces associated with thermal movement of long roof sheets.
