OVERVIEW
Quayside House is a multi-purpose 3-storey health and wellbeing centre that includes two GP surgeries serving around 17,500 patients, a pharmacy, office space, and 81 parking spaces. A redevelopment was appointed by Gloucestershire County Council as the building was a vacant asbestos ridden 1960s building. There are four staircases and integral lifts to the second floor as well as a further 3 lifts dedicated to first floor, serving both GP practices.
Cellecta’s ScreedBoard 20 was specified by ADP Architecture due to it being the ideal overlay floorboard for acoustic applications. ScreedBoard 20 was laid upon a first floor over PIR to achieve U Values as the build was unable to accept a wet screed due to weight restrictions upon the ground.
Kier Group was awarded this 2,500m² contract to construct this development in the centre of Gloucester.
