OVERVIEW

For this project we supplied a 42m² Series 1 Platform with Standard Screen designed to mount and isolate ten Mitsubishi VRV units without any roof penetrations. To mitigate sound disruption the platform was complemented with a high-performance Soundshield Screen surround on two sides. By combining structural integrity with advanced noise reduction technology, the installation met all planning and environmental compliance requirements. It also demonstrated a proactive approach to community impact mitigation, providing peace of mind for nearby residents and contributing to the overall sustainability of the development.

Installation

Thanks to the modular, prefabricated design and the inclusion of clear, easy to follow instructions, the process was highly efficient from start to finish. The pre-engineered components arrived onsite organized and ready for assembly, significantly reducing installation time and complexity. The modular concept played a key role in the project's success; ensuring there were no missing parts, no product waste, and no delays. This streamlined approach not only minimized onsite disruption but also enabled the team to complete the build smoothly and within the projected timeline.

Design

This design developed by our inhouse design team featured a fully integrated. penetration-less plant deck and screen system. Acoustic panels was strategically installed to two sides to act as a sound barrier, effectively mitigating the operational noise emitted by the VRV units. The choice of a Series 1 Platform provided a robust and stable base, ensuring both safety and functionality, while also facilitating easier access for ongoing maintenance.
