Bodmin Jail Hotel

OVERVIEW

Bodmin Jail Hotel has made it onto UNESCO’s World Heritage list thanks to its façade and meticulous refurbishment project. The interior space features plush furnishings dressed in pops of rich, jewel colours found in each of the building’s 70 rooms.

The Hotel benefits from aluminium windows based on MB-Slimline system. 👉 The MB-Slimline window system with thermal break is intended for fabrication of external glazing elements such as various types of highly resistant windows (side-hung, tilt-and-turn and fix) with very narrow side lines and weather resistance, security, and sound insulation performance. Perfect for any heritage type projects or modern minimalistic design.

When constructed in 1779, Bodmin Jail was an innovative milestone in prison design with its individual cells, segregated male and female areas, and running hot water. Now a four-star luxury hotel, The Bodmin Jail Hotel provides guests with a tasteful, creative and distinctive atmosphere.

Aluprof systems were supplied and installed by Creative Façade Design and consist of Aluprof's MB-Slimline window system. The project was designed by Twelve Architects & Masterplanners of London. Main contractor was CField Construction
