OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

For the Hartpury University project, Configured Platforms supplied a cost-effective acoustic screening solution using our modular Boltscreen system. By fixing our Standard Screen with Peacemaker directly to the existing steel structure, we delivered a fast, efficient installation without the need for complex structural modifications.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION - Boltscreen with 2.4m high Peacemaker Screens

Key features

- Boltscreen for a tidy screening solution for existing roof works.

- Standard screen panels for aesthetically enclosing equipment.

- Peacemaker screens for effectively attenuating sound.

- Conforms to BS EN 516 2006 and BS EN 1090-3 2008

Installation

The installation was completed in just three days by a team of four installers. The lightweight components and clear installation process allowed for a fast, seamless setup with minimal disruption to other site activities. This rapid turnaround not only kept the project on schedule but also reinforced the value of using a pre-engineered, modular solution for acoustic screening.

Design

The enclosure was designed entirely in-house, ensuring a solution that was both functional and architecturally sensitive. The Standard screen was powder-coated to seamlessly blend in with the existing structure while the peacemaker effectively delivered the required acoustic performance. The clean lines and minimalistic design of the screen system provided a discreet finish, aligning with the project’s overall visual goals.
