Hotel replaces oil fueled boilers with air source cascade

2 cascades of 4 WPL 25 air source heat pumps installed by RKM Plumbing and Heating with 1500L buffer tank and 2 x 500L DHW Cylinders Key features of the project › 2 Cascades of 4 heat pumps controlled independently to provide complete control and quick reaction times due to the high demand from the restaurant and wedding venue which are constantly in use alongside the sports bar for the golf club and associated changing facilities › a total heating output of around 112kW @ -4°C outside temp › 28kW of power feeding the DHW tanks › Remote monitoring using Internet Service Gateway connected to the BMS System for the entire site, ensuring the team are aware of the status of the system at all times › The system was installed and commissioned in late August 2023.
