OVERVIEW
Port Glasgow Shared Campus School
Architect: Ingenium Archial Architects
Installer: Moorcon
Product: Shiluvit by Oranit
Officially opened Spring term 2014 the Port Glasgow Shared Campus School is the first project of its kind in Scotland.
The new school building houses both Port Glasgow High School and St Stephens High, as well as sharing its ample resources with the Craigmarloch Additional Support Needs School.
500m2 of ‘Shiluvit’ panels in Nordic Pine were used across the atrium and second floor corridors of the new shared campus in Glasgow.
The product was chosen for both its excellent fire-retardant properties as well as the brilliant acoustic protection it provides against spaces like this which would otherwise be affected by high levels of sound reverberation.
