OVERVIEW
Lindner played a decisive role in this visionary project: the main
structure – consisting of the main and pavilion façades as well as the
roof construction – was made entirely from laminated timber,
emphasising the sustainable project approach.
Inside, the timber construction continues with 3,000 m² of acoustic panels between the main columns and wall panelling. These are particularly aesthetically pleasing and ensure optimum acoustics in the experience centre. Lindner's creative solutions also included spectacular spiral staircases with balusters and suspended wooden ceilings. The entire project was planned in 3D in order to precisely check all installations and connections. The design of the acoustic panels was particularly challenging, as the distance between the pillars in the tree trunks varied and the construction was made more complex by additional loads
