This CPD looks at the issues around water conservation in buildings. The presentation begins with an overview of the natural water lifecycle before looking at a holistic view of designing water management systems and key ways of reducing water usage. It then moves into standards and regulations and BREEAM, before finishing with a section on grey and rain water recycling. The aim of this CPD is to address all the requirements and issues to comply with Part M of the Building Regulations.It covers the type of buildings affected, locations in the building, layouts, specific product specification requirements and surrounding finishes.
