After working with Accord Hospice for many years, they came to us straight away when they got funding for a new 8-bed inpatient unit refurbishment. We brought some of their team to our private showroom to go through the product range and take a closer look at certain items they were interested in. Innova ended up supplying the hospice with bespoke fitted furniture, loose furniture, Integralift hidden hoist systems, and all kinds of specialist equipment in keeping with their modern, homely décor. Formerly known as The John Fielding Special School, Boston Endeavour Academy is a newly built school for children aged 2-19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.Located in the market town of Boston, Lincolnshire, the £13.2 million school opened to 100 children in September 2021, with that number expected to rise to 140 in the coming years.To accompany the state of the art facilities including therapy rooms, specialist classrooms and a life-skills suite, Boston Endeavour Academy also wanted to install a hydrotherapy pool.Read the full case study by clicking the link below.

The Calvert Trust was set up to provide a fully-accessible luxury holiday home for people with disabilities and their families to stay in. As such, they wanted to make sure that any accessible equipment included in their lodges and chalets was as discreet as possible. We worked with them on their Kielder campus, and created bespoke Integralift hidden hoist systems to go around the double bed from either side. You wouldn't even know they were there! Dr Kershaw’s Hospice is an independent hospice that provides specialist palliative care for adults with non-curable, life-limiting illnesses in a peaceful and homely setting. They wanted to build a new In-Patient Unit that would help them provide compassionate and dignified care in a modern environment, and contacted us for our expertise in interior design.

The Frederick Holmes School in Hull was a new-build project we worked on a few years back. The school was designed to cater for students aged 2 to 19 with severe physical and learning disabilities. Classrooms and hygiene rooms needed full hoist coverage to allow students and staff to move anywhere within the room. We even let the school trial our hoist units whilst they were deciding which supplier to go with. Widely referred to as the ‘Home of Cricket’, Lord’s Cricket Ground is the home of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), Middlesex County Cricket Club and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).Taking care over every detail of the ground, MCC are dedicated to growing its reputation as the most celebrated and admired venue in cricket, from working with local communities to growing cricket’s global influence.As part of their ‘Masterplan’ for the redevelopment of Lord’s, including installing wheelchair positions and amenity seats at all levels of the stands, MCC wanted to make improvements to enhance accessibility for all supporters by including a Changing Place toilet.To achieve this goal, they contacted Changing Place supplier, Innova Care Concepts, for their expertise in design and installation, to ensure supporters with complex care needs had accessible toileting and changing facilities.Watch our case study video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCO0_iekKEgClick below to read our full case study ...

Lymm Fire Station was completely unique project; it was new-build station that doubled up as an educational centre. It had all kinds of different environments and scenarios built-in to give visitors the ability to learn what to do in various emergency situations. As such, they wanted to include a Changing Place facility in the new building. We’ve been working with the Changing Places campaign for a long time, and we were able to design a fully-compliant facility complete with a wall-mounted X-Y hoist system. The school themselves chose us to supply and install 15 ceiling track hoist systems on this project. It was completely new building that would facilitate pupils with complex medical needs and autism, so creating an accessible, safe, secure environment was incredibly important. Through the entire design process, we made sure that our hoist systems would be providing the safest, easiest accessible solution to all students. Based in North East Lincolnshire, St Andrew’s Hospice provides palliative and end of life care for adults and children. The hospice delivers a wide range of services including counselling, complementary therapies, lymphoedema clinics, physiotherapy and bereavement support.In order to enhance the quality and variety of care they provide for younger patients, plans were put forward for St Andrew’s Hospice to refurbish their Andy’s Children Unit.Needing specialist support with the design, installation and sourcing of equipment, St Andrew's got in touch with Innova for their expertise in loose furniture and bespoke hoisting solutions.Innova supported the project with a number of different hoisting options, including AirGlide 360 tracking with a AirRise 200 hoist unit, to facilitate an H-frame (X-Y) below hung overhead ceiling track hoisting system in one of their bathrooms.

St Andrew’s Hospice was undergoing well-deserved £9 million refurbishment, and they wanted their new inpatient unit to feel like a home-from-home for all patients and their families. Our Integralift hidden hoist was specified by the architect because it could provide accessibility without being obvious in the room. The hospice had made it clear that all equipment needed to match the overall décor of the hospice and fit in with their signature colour scheme. We were originally contacted by STEPS Rehabilitation when they were researching products to include in their new-build centre. they chose to go with us because of how subtle and sophisticated our product range is. The team wanted to make their facilities feel as comfortable and cosy as possible, and we provided equipment that could match that on all fronts. Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group have homes all over the UK, and they were opening a new one in Mawdesley, Lancashire. This home was designed specifically for people living with complex physical disabilities and plus size patients. Our designers worked closely with the owners to design a flexible, thorough hoist systems that would deliver for patients throughout the building, no matter how much their needs vary. We installed a total of 20 X-Y inset overhead hoist systems connecting private rooms to en-suites and assisted bathrooms. Take a closer look on our website!

Located just to the east of Worksop Town Centre, The Canch is an award-winning park that is owned and managed by Bassetlaw District Council.As part of Bassetlaw District Council’s commitment to continually improve the overall facilities at its Green Flag award-winning park, plans for a new building were put in place in 2021 to include a refreshments kiosk, a Changing Places toilet, a disabled toilet, a baby change and parent WC in addition to four unisex toilets.To improve their visitor experience and make their park accessible for all, Bassetlaw District Council got in touch with Innova Care Concepts to supply and install a new Changing Places facility.Take a look to fine out how Innova helped ensure The Canch had accessible toilet facilities for all visitors to their park .....
