The client wanted to create a smooth flow throughout the different areas with distinctive walkways, leading to breakout spaces and the kitchen. A range of Paragon Carpet Tiles’ products were selected to deliver the desired aesthetic.With durable properties and vibrant colourways, Strobe and Vital suited the project perfectly. The two product ranges were used together to create quirky, curved walkways, along with feature borders and inlays to the boardroom and director’s office.Strobe carpet tiles were also used on the staircase to create constant flow from the stairway to the walkways and workspace areas.Duera, part of Paragon Carpet Tiles’ Luxury Commercial Vinyl solutions, was also used to deliver a modern and unique look. With a 5mm height, the range can provide a seamless finish against most existing carpet tiles, allowing designers to create spaces that flow between soft and hard textures.G Harding Flooring said: “Using all Paragon Carpet Tiles’ products not only simplified the buying process but allowed design elements to work alongside each other. We were able to eliminate additional subfloor preparation and the need for trims by selecting ranges with the matching thicknesses.”

Geofabrics opted for the stylish ‘Phase’ design to be installed in both their boardroom and administration office, creating a sleek and modern finish. The shade ‘Gainsboro’ added a slick element to the rooms, with the on-trend grey being a popular choice for office spaces due to it’s versatility. 

Office Visions required something unique for their own offices. With several other Paragon Carpet Tiles products used throughout their building, Total Contrast was selected to add an extra dimension to a small personal office.Total Contrast is a truly unique product. It is manufactured using ECONYL recycled yarn made from fishing nets. The product comes in four different tile patterns, allowing it to be randomly placed on the four – guaranteeing two installations will never be the same, perfect for that individual finish.

Powys County Council oversees the largest unitary authority in Wales by land area, with its offices and county hall situated in the parish town of Llandrindod Wells.Paragon Carpet Tiles worked closely with Powys County Council who initially requested a trial of Vapour to ensure it was the right design-led solution for them while providing the performance of a suitable commercial carpet tile.
