PermaRock’s BRE-Global Certification Certificate (No. 158/12) expands on our existing scope of external wall insulation and render systems accredited.
PermaRock External Wall Insulation and Render Systems (PEWIRS) consist of (mono- or dual-density) mineral fibre, phenolic foam, expanded polystyrene (EPS), or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam insulation finished externally with polymer modified renders, polymeric coatings with aggregate finishes, brick slips or polymer bound brick effect slips to simulate brickwork.
PermaRock Systems are for application to external vertical walls of new or existing buildings of masonry, dense and no-fines concrete, timber or light gauge steel frame construction.
Carrier rails can be used in conjunction with EPS to provide a 20mm drained cavity where required.

PermaRend Scratch Render is a scraped finish, self-coloured, mineral render which contains a silicone water repellent which can be finished flat or tooled to create ashlar effect.

Flexible, weather resistant, water repellent and water vapour permeable, Acrylic K render is available in an extensive range of over 1250 colours from the PermaRock Colour Chart.
Supplied with a K (stippled) texture, in 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 mm
grain sizes, they can also be tinted to RAL, BS4800, NCS and other widely used commercial colour ranges.
Darker colours (Lightness Factor <20) are unsuitable for use with EPS and Phenolic insulation systems. Where utilised on Mineral Wool insulation systems or PermaRend Render Systems, these deeper, darker shades may also require an additional equalising coat of PermaRock SiliconeUltra or PermaRock Acrylone Façade Coating.
PermaRock Brick Effect Render (two-coat self-coloured polymer-modified cement-based render used to replicate brickwork)

PermaRock Brick Effect Render (BER) is pre-batched, two-coat self-coloured polymer-modified cement-based render designed to simulate the appearance of brickwork for use with our external wall insulation and render systems.
It can also be used to create features such as soldier courses, brick quoins, etc. in conjunction with other finishes.
Incorporating a silicone water repellent, BER offers improved water resistance and helps maintain a cleaner surface and is particularly suited to projects where new brickwork cannot be used.
The render can be applied to achieve metric or imperial brick sizes, any bond pattern and also to create non-standard patterns and effects.
Incorporating special pigment powders into the render surface can also further diversify the aesthetics achievable

Manufactured from high quality raw materials with modern machinery and the skills of experienced craftsmen, these simulated bricks offer a multitude of outstanding product characteristics.
The brick slips offer flexible application and design features, and are durable, robust, impact resistant and easy to clean: Long maintenance intervals reduce follow-up costs.
Bricks slips are available in a range of 12 standard colours and 3 textures: Special colours, textures and sizes can be manufactured to special order. The Brick Slip Adhesive used to fix and joint the slips, is available in three standard colours (cement-grey, sand-white & dark grey).

Dry Dashing is a traditional decorative rendering technique that provides a tough, durable, long lasting, cost-effective and almost maintenance free exterior wall finish.
Dry Dash comprises pre-washed and screened Dashing Aggregates which incorporate different types and colours of stones that are blended together and applied to a specially formulated, self-coloured, polymer enriched mineral-cement Dashing Mortar (DM) offering enhanced performance over traditional sand/cement renders.
Dashing Mortar is available in Grey, White, Yellow, Cream, Red and Pink, with other shades made to special order (minimum order quantities).
Any of the comprehensive range of graded dashing stones can be used with any shade of PermaRock Dashing Mortar to achieve an attractive pebble dash finish.

PermaRock Scratch Render is a pre-mixed render based on cement limestone and specially selected, lightfast and UV stable mineral pigments.
It is supplied as a dry powder, preblended, ready mixed, cement-lime based exterior through-colour render containing a silicone water repellent agent. This monocouche type render is for single or two coat applications to brick or blockwork masonry and onto a PermaRock reinforced base coat. The render is weather resistant and yet provides excellent water vapour permeability, allowing treated walls to breathe.
Scratch Render can be applied in thick layers which enable the creation of rustication and ashlar effects. The water repellent surface reduces water absorption and improves resistance to algae, soiling and frost damage.

The PermaRock Track-EPS system is a mechanically fixed external wall insulation (EWI) system which can be installed to create a drained cavity space behind the insulation panels to meet the specific requirements of NHBC, Zurich and other building insurers for external wall insulation application to timber and metal frame constructions in new residential buildings.
The use of tracks to support the insulation enables greater flexibility in overcoming deficiencies in irregular or uneven backgrounds, to achieve very flat surfaces upon completion.
Fire tested in accordance with BS 8414-2: 2005 - compliant with BR 135; can be used on buildings over 18m (refer to PermaRock for further information)
