Spraytec who are members of our Pro Contractor network, approached PRB to provide a specification for the application of a monocouche render system for newly laid block walls. The block type was confirmed prior to the agreed specification to ensure the product selection was correct.

GB Rendering recently completed a project in Leigh On Sea. The requirement being to modernise and give the property a ‘face lift’. The original design of the property was mock Georgian painted render with painted beams.Once the beams had been removed and the extent of the job was revealed they called PRB to ask if there was a system that could be used over painted render to accept a Monocouche finish. After consulting PRB’s specification and technical department, explaining the scenario, PRB responded with the exact specification for GB Rendering.

The team at HWS Plastering were required to complete a full EWI system in St Albans, using a scratch render system. Scratch Renders, typically known as Monocouche Renders are not used onto EWI systems as the system needs flexibility, and it must also be lightweight due to the system build up. Luckily, at PRB we have the solution.
