As a mid-sized company with a focus on cutting-edge nano-science and high quality, we are able to facilitate innovation and thus set new benchmarks in multiple market sectors quickly and efficiently.

We support, advise and supply manufacturers of surface coatings, waterproof coating distributors, and users of high-tech smart coatings. Our aim is to provide performance improving solutions for a diverse range of requirements. Businesses and consumers in more than 70 countries already benefit from the intelligent-hybrid performance of our multi-functional coatings.

To bring our extensive range of nano coating and care products to market, we utilise specialist skill sets from the sciences. Our experts come from the following materials, engineering and science backgrounds: nanotechnology, bionics, organic/inorganic and physical chemistry/microbiology.

The combination of these specialisms creates a unique team with the vision to foresee tomorrow’s customers’ smart surface needs, as well as the requirements to fulfil these in terms of nano coating functionality and application methodology.

Our team formulate compounds based on Si-c-n ceramics, Si-O2- hybrids (amorphous), Si-C-F Compounds, [RSiO3/2]n- hybrids (polyoctahedral silsesquioxanes (“POSS”) and Mikro and Nano wax.

We ensure that all nanotechnology products meet their necessary international standards, thus ensuring consumer confidence in performance and environmental credentials. Please see the extract of independently verified standards below.

The key performance benefits of our smart surface products contribute to and reflect our core value of responsibility to the environment. With the aim of reducing the need for harsh chemicals and frequency of maintenance, they underpin our cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

The LCA is the internationally recognised standard by which the overall environmental impact of our nanotechnology activities is benchmarked and assessed. Therefore, all planning and decision making is framed and lead by the priorities of minimising energy consumption, emissions and effects on health and ecosystems. Information produced from these assessments is made available to customers as a confirmation of our commitment to sustainability.

Equally prioritised is our commitment to nano coating product safety. Rather than an obligation to meet standards, we consider this an objective to exceed standards and do so wherever possible in the interests of achieving the highest safety standards possible.

Intelligent Hybrids® is our global brand concept which encompasses the key traits that define our business. These are characterised by:

·      Our leading position at the cutting edge of smart-coating surface technology development.

·      Our underpinning by German technological expertise.

·      The use of cross-over sustainable technologies.

·      Full emphasis on ecological properties and minimising CO2 footprint.
