This project not only enhances the visual appeal of the space but also demonstrates our capability to handle large-scale, high-demand installations that stand the test of time. In a significant flooring and worktop overhaul at Lina Stores in King's Cross, Terrazzo Tiles was tasked with installing 1500 square meters of our Birmingham Untamed tiles. This extensive project was not only about achieving a stylish aesthetic but also about ensuring longevity and sustainability in one of London’s most frequented culinary destinations. Birmingham Untamed: A Statement in Durability and Design The Birmingham Untamed tiles are renowned for their robust and striking appearance. With dimensions of 60cm x 60cm, these tiles were selected to accommodate the heavy foot traffic of the restaurant while providing a sleek, modern look. The versatility of the tiles made them an excellent choice for both flooring and worktop applications, creating a cohesive visual flow throughout the premises. Project Execution and Impact This installation at Brill Place required precise coordination and execution, given the bustling nature of King's Cross and the operational demands of Lina Stores. The larger tile size facilitated a quicker installation process and fewer grout lines, leading to a cleaner and more streamlined appearance. The choice of Birmingham Untamed tiles for this project reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, durable materials that meet the functional needs and aesthetic aspirations of our clients. The tiles' natural resistance to wear and ease of maintenance ensure that they will uphold their pristine condition despite the high traffic and frequent use. Sustainability and Performance Consistent with our environmental ethos, Birmingham Untamed tiles are made from natural, sustainably sourced materials. Their production process is designed to have a lower environmental impact, aligning with our goals of reducing the ecological footprint of our projects.   

For Bun House in the vibrant neighbourhood of Soho, London, our application of Zellige tiles in varying shades and sizes reflects our ability to infuse traditional materials with contemporary design sensibilities. This 100m² project enhances the unique aesthetic of this popular eatery, blending cultural heritage with modern culinary flair. The choice of Zellige tiles for Bun House was influenced by their handmade qualities and rich color variations, which add depth and texture to the space. The Moss (Dark) Green, Light Green, and White tiles were used in a creative mix, forming an inviting and dynamic environment that mirrors the vibrant, fresh flavors of the menu. The smaller sizes of the tiles allowed for intricate patterns and designs, which bring an artisanal touch to the interiors. This project not only enhanced the visual appeal of Bun House but also demonstrated our expertise in using traditional Zellige tiles to create a modern, bespoke look that complements the lively atmosphere of Soho.   

For the Carhartt store in Cannock, our selection of Microgravel Silver Matt tiles illustrates our expertise in blending industrial aesthetics with functional durability. This renovation covered a 130m² area of the store's flooring, significantly enhancing its robustness and style. The Microgravel Silver Matt tiles were chosen for their minimalist yet striking appearance, featuring a fine-textured blend of silvery aggregates embedded in high-quality cement. This choice reflects a modern industrial vibe suitable for the Carhartt brand, known for its durable and practical workwear. The large format tiles provide a seamless look, minimizing grout lines and maximizing visual space, which is ideal for creating an open, airy feel in retail environments. This project not only refreshed the Carhartt store's interior but also highlighted our commitment to delivering sustainable and high-quality flooring solutions that meet the demands of commercial spaces, aligning perfectly with the Carhartt ethos of durability and functionality. 

Dishoom, a celebrated Indian restaurant in London's Canary Wharf, enhanced its dining space with our Mosaic Terrazzo tiles, covering an area of 67m². This selection from our range beautifully transitions from green to beige, adding to the restaurant's inviting atmosphere. Crafted using traditional artisanal methods, our tiles incorporate natural materials and pigments, embodying our commitment to environmental sustainability. The project aligns with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification standards, which advocate for sustainable building and design practices. The incorporation of our Mosaic Terrazzo tiles at Dishoom Canary Wharf underscores the restaurant's dedication to quality and sustainability, offering guests a visually stunning and eco-friendly dining environment.

The installation at Farmer J in Jubilee Place, Canary Wharf, showcases our adaptability and commitment to sustainability, even with discontinued lines like the Bergamo White Terrazzo Resin - R001. The project encompassed a compact yet impactful 50m² area, perfectly suited for the vibrant and bustling atmosphere of a modern eatery. The Bergamo White Terrazzo Resin tiles were an excellent choice for Farmer J, known for their commitment to fresh, fast, and vibrant meals. The tiles’ bright white base with subtle flecks of gray and black mirror this ethos, creating a clean, fresh look that enhances the natural light within the space. Despite being a discontinued product, these tiles were sourced and installed to meet the client's need for a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing floor that aligns with their brand image. This project not only revitalized Farmer J’s dining space but also underscored our ability to provide eco-friendly and visually appealing solutions, maintaining the integrity and continuity of the restaurant's design theme.  

In the heart of London's dynamic Kings Cross area, Google's first purpose-built office in Europe stands as a testament to innovative design and environmental sustainability. Covering an impressive 1,000m², this project required a flooring solution that matched Google's ethos of innovation, quality, and sustainability.  Snowdonia Essential Plus Terrazzo tiles, chosen for this project, feature a subtle off-white base with varying sizes of grey and white chips. This modern engineered marble is not just about aesthetics it boasts exceptional quality and sustainability credentials, being LEED-certified. This certification underscores the tiles contribution to energy efficiency and environmental design in buildings. Google's new London HQ, envisioned by renowned architects Heatherwick Studio and Bjarke Ingels Group and brought to life by BDP, reimagines the traditional office space. The design prioritizes a low-rise structure that harmonizes with the urban landscape of King's Cross, emphasizing subtlety and consideration in every aspect. Being part of the creation of Google's groundbreaking London headquarters was an opportunity to showcase our commitment to quality, sustainability, and design excellence. The Snowdonia Essential Plus Terrazzo tiles not only complement the aesthetic vision of the architects but also contribute to the building's overall sustainability goals. 

For the JD Sport store in Newcastle, the Derby Terrazzo Untamed tiles selection exemplified our commitment to merging style with sustainability. Covering an area of 245m², the flooring transformation brought an elevated aesthetic and robust functionality to the space.

The Valentino Untamed tile installation at Westfield, Stratford is a testament to our ability to blend ecological responsibility with modern design demands. The installation covered an expansive area of 245 square meters with our Valentino Untamed tiles, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the environment. The Valentino Untamed Selection Chosen for its exquisite design and durability, the Valentino Untamed collection features an impressive array of large grey and white marble chips . This eye-catching pattern not only adds a layer of sophistication to the retail space but also resonates with the modern consumer looking for style and substance.

The tile cladding at Lina Stores not only revitalizes the space but also demonstrates Terrazzo Tiles' capability to merge functionality with style in high-stakes commercial environments. This project underlines our expertise in delivering tailor-made solutions that meet both aesthetic desires and practical needs, setting a new standard in restaurant design. Terrazzo Tiles is proud to showcase our role in the aesthetic and functional transformation at Lina Stores in King's Cross. This distinctive restaurant cladding project spanned an area of 50 square meters, employing bespoke tiles that seamlessly blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Eclectic Material Selection The project utilized a trio of sophisticated materials, each chosen for their texture and colour palette, to create a visually captivating environment: Pistachio Cement Tiles: These tiles bring a vibrant yet earthy feel to the space, ideal for creating a welcoming atmosphere. London Light Grey Terrazzo: Known for its subtle elegance, this terrazzo offers a light, clean look that enhances the brightness of the interior. Treviso Honed Terrazzo: With a smoother finish, this terrazzo provides a refined contrast to the more textured elements within the space. Strategic Design Impact Situated at Brill Place, the strategic use of these tiles at Lina Stores emphasizes our commitment to enhancing commercial spaces through high-quality materials. The bespoke size of 150mm x 300mm was specifically chosen to accommodate the unique architectural elements of the restaurant, ensuring a precise and aesthetically pleasing application. Sustainability and Durability In line with our dedication to sustainability, each material used in this project, from the Pistachio Cement to the Terrazzo varieties, is sourced and manufactured to minimize environmental impact without compromising on durability. These materials are especially suited for high-traffic areas, offering both resistance and easy maintenance, crucial for the restaurant setting.

For The Point in Paddington, London, the choice of our Lecce Terrazzo Honed tiles epitomizes our dedication to merging aesthetic sophistication with practicality in professional environments. This installation covered a substantial 190.08m², transforming the office lobby and lift lobbies into elegant, welcoming spaces. The Lecce Terrazzo Honed tiles were selected for their classic yet contemporary appearance, featuring a rich blend of natural stone chips set in a smooth, honed cement matrix. The large tile size minimizes seams, contributing to a sleek, unified aesthetic that complements the architectural qualities of The Point. This choice not only enhances the visual spaciousness of the areas but also withstands the high traffic typically seen in corporate settings, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. This project not only upgraded the aesthetic and functional quality of The Point's lobby areas but also highlighted our commitment to delivering high-quality, durable terrazzo solutions tailored to the unique needs of modern commercial spaces.
