Our history

Founded in 1983 by Robert Tunnicliffe, a former Ford Motors engineer, Ventrolla was born from his quest to resolve draught issues in his own home.

What began as a handmade prototype evolved into the world’s first perimeter sealing system (VPSS) and sash removal system (SRS).

Designed to eliminate draughts, rattles and dust ingress, VPSS was awarded the prestigious Design Council Award (Engineering Components) shortly after its invention. This system, along with our SRS, remains central to our distinguished offering over 40 years later.
