An innovative regeneration scheme, to reinvigorate Altrincham Central Way, was completed in March 2015 after Trafford Council commissioned landscape architects Planit-ie and Stockley to develop a new town centre strategy. The objective of the 727m² landscape was to maintain the distinctive and unique feel of the area, whist modernising it for the demands of contemporary life. To achieve this appearance, Wienerberger's Auraton DF and Vintage Tumbled Blue Brindled pavers were used for this project.

For the construction of the Carmelite Monastery in Liverpool, the architects Austin-Smith Lord chose Wienerberger’s Con Mosso brick, due to its soft and textured appearance, which makes it equally suitable for internal as well as external use. On the façade, the appearance subtly changes according to the time of day and weather conditions; the changing shape of the shadows deliberately exudes a sense of calmness and tranquillity. This unique architectural design has captured the imagination of architects across the country indeed as much that it was awarded the Architect’s Choice award at the 2013 Brick Development Awards (BDA).

James Bros Roofing Contractors, who specialise in the re-roofing of domestic properties using natural slate, clay plain tiles or more modern concrete tiles, selected Wienerberger's 20/20 Antique Slate roof tiles to achieve this brief perfectly.

A ground breaking feature of the tile, which was previously considered impossible, is that it is guaranteed for use at roof pitches down to 15°, where as traditional plain tiles usually can only go down to 35°.

Set on the Broadstairs campus of East Kent College, construction has now come to a close on extension works to an existing road at the college site, which was required to take place in the curtilage of a listed building. The project utilised Wienerberger’s Penter Dortmund Dark Multi and Dragfaced Square Edged Blue pavers, as a clay paving product was required in lieu of concrete to give the finish and longevity the client required, in accordance with planning requirements and ensuring that the colour and design of the road complimented and maintained the character of the building.

Set within a protected woodland glade, Kimmeridge Court has been carefully crafted to preserve the quality of its natural setting. Designed by Medical Architecture and built by Kier for Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, the facility creates a uniquely private and therapeutic environment for the treatment of patients with eating disorders.This inpatient unit, located within the grounds of the Grade II listed St Ann’s Hospital in Poole, provides specialist accommodation to meet a growing demand for the treatment of patients with eating disorders. It offers expanded and improved facilities including inpatient bedrooms, clinical and therapy spaces, and sensitively designed living spaces.The size and positioning of the building has been carefully designed to have a low impact on the mature coastal trees that occupy the site and to respect the character of the surrounding area. As have the buildings’ exterior, using traditional materials such as brick and clay roof tiles but in a contemporary manner, providing a modern and attractive setting that protects the existing context.

In the course of the restructuring and refurbishment of a multi-storey library tower (MST) for the School of Law and the linkage of the tower to the adjacent Peter Froggatt Centre (PFC) to form a new student hub at Queen’s University in Belfast, the architects TODD decided to use Wienerberger’s Lincoln Red brick to tie the scheme into its surroundings. Generally, the brick was laid traditionally, but brick slips secured to a proprietary backing board were also used to form soffits and glazed into the curtain walling on the PFC façade.
