Isocheck 14C
High performance acoustic flooring for concrete floors. Overlay board system.
Acoustic floors to be used over concrete floors.
Suitable for:
Isocheck 27C, 23C, 18C and 14C acoustic floor systems are designed to reduce impact sound transmission through concrete floors. This system does not need the additional protection of a moisture barrier (VCL) vapour control layer because the Isopoli will not absorb the moisture from a virgin screed.
Isocheck 27C, 23C and 18C consist of a 5.5 mm layer of cross linked Isopoli bonded to 22 mm, 18 mm and 12 mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard respectively, whereas Isocheck 14C consists of a 5.5 mm layer of cross-linked ‘Isopoli’ bonded to 9 mm moisture resistant medium density fibreboard.
When installed as part of an Isomass approved party floor construction it enables a concrete floor to meet the sound transmission standards of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010, 2013 and 2015.
Complies with New Build Robust Detail descriptive FFT5 within E-FC-1, E-FC-2 and E-FS-1.
