Crystalline cementitious waterproof coating with high adhesion and fast set time providing long-term waterproofing against negative and positive hydrostatic pressures.
Aquatek® Super XA is suitable for waterproofing of concrete, internal or external, below and above the ground water table, in horizontal and vertical applications, such as:
Can also be applied as a dry powder broadcasted waterproofing of concrete floor slabs.
Aquatek® Super XA is a waterproofing powder product composed of Portland cement, selected silicas, chemically reactive ingredients and modifiers. When applied to the substrate, Aquatek®Super XA reacts with the moisture in the concrete and forms a waterproofing barrier through reaction of the active chemicals with the free lime, to form long chained insoluble crystalline complexes which block the capillaries and micro-fissures in the concrete, stopping water penetration even under negative water pressure.
